M – Sat 9:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (28 hours per week)

Pay Rate: $11.50 Hourly

• Assists store customers in donating, selecting, and purchasing store items
• Operates and maintains a cash register
• Responds to customer questions
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of store displays
• Ensures security of store items and cash register
• Sorting Room:
  Receives, sorts, prices and prepares donated items for display
• Determines suitability and pricing of items based on established standards
• Assists in maintaining orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse area

• Ability to meet attendance requirements
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Ability to operate a cash register
• Ability to perform routine mathematical computations and count changes
• Ability to perform frequent walking and/or standing, kneeling, or squatting, relieved by lesser periods of sitting or operating a vehicle
• Work requires lifting and carrying and/or pushing/pulling heavy donations (50-100+ lbs.), e.g., furniture, appliances, etc.
• Work performed in a normal store environment with minimal physical discomfort; warehouse may involve noise, dust, dirt

• High School diploma or G.E.D. and preferred experience working in a retail store, OR
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
