Schedule
Day/overnight on Weekdays and Weekends
Tasks- Maintainasecuritypostorsecuritycheckpointanddealdirectlywiththeworkers and guests coming to the site.
- Grantauthorizedvisitorsaccessandpreventunauthorizedpersonsfromenteringthesite.
- Providedirectionstovisitorsand/orthepublic.
- Removetrespassers and violators and detainperpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive to take over.
- Preventpropertydamage;andifanypropertydamageoccurs,the Security
Officer will document such occurrenceinsecuritysoftware systemand reportimmediatelyto the Shift Supervisor. - Conduct regular foot patrols and scan checkpointsvia the security software systemaround the site and watch for suspicious activities and/or unsafe conditions on the site.
- Investigatessecurity breaches, incidents, and other alarmingbehavior.
- Write andmaintainincident reports,maintenancereportsanddailyactivitylogs.
- Secureall doors, windows, and exits, depending on shift.
- Otherdutiesshallbeassignedbythe Shift Supervisor .
Education and Experience
- This position typically is not an entry-level job, as it requires demonstrablepreviousexperience as a Site Security Officer.
- Mustbeabletounderstandworkdirectionsandcommunicateeffectivelywithvisitors, contractors, and fellow security officers.
