Position:
Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician
Salary: $23.00 - $45.00/hr*
Full-time, shifts may vary.
Responsibilities- Maintain and repair Walmart facility's refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment.
- Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders supporting Stores and Store associates and document repair activities.
- Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
- Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
- Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by performing work according to Walmart Refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
- Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work comfortably at heights frequently.
- 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
- Large scale rack refrigeration experience.
- Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.
- 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Individual compensation packages based on factors such as skill set, experience, and qualifications.
- Eligible for bonus incentive.
