We're searching for a Certified Electrician, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The electrician will ensure all work complies with state electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with state regulations and safety codes
Inspects electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, ensuring compliance with codes
Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
Plans the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes
Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
Connects wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
Tests electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety of the system
Supervises and trains apprentices and other less experienced staff
Ensures all installations and repairs are completed on time and within budget
Provides excellent customer service and addresses client inquiries and concerns
Participates in the required safety program and works in a safe manner
Additional duties assigned by the manager

Skills & Requirements

Education/Experience

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid state electrician's license
Proven experience as an electrician

Required Qualifications /Skills

In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment
Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and state electrical codes
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
