Hammond Services is growing, and we are looking for qualified HVAC Maintenance Technicians who want to grow with us. We are a family-owned and operated business that has proudly served the South Metro Atlanta area since 1979. As a well-established and respected Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electrical company, we take pride in delivering exceptional service while investing in our employees. This is an entry-level position where you will perform basic HVAC maintenance and tune-ups.
As your skills and knowledge grow, you'll have the opportunity to advance into a Service Technician role.
The ideal candidate has completed HVAC training, has previous HVAC experience, or possesses strong mechanical aptitude and technical abilities.

- Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs on residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
- Inspect equipment and determine maintenance or service requirements.
- Communicate findings and recommended repairs to management.
- Work closely with teammates to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Follow all company safety procedures.
- Use company software to document work performed and collect customer payments when applicable.
- HVAC training and/or previous HVAC experience preferred.
- EPA Certification (Type I, II, III, or Universal) preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company insurance requirements (minimum driving age of 22).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage daily workload and work overtime when needed.
