Operate heavy equipment at recycling center, landfill, or transfer station to transfer, spread, cover, load, and/or compact waste or soil safely and efficiently;
Perform pre- and post-operation inspections and ensure safety policies are followed;
Monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable material and monitor equipment condition to minimize downtime;
Perform minor service on equipment and document Equipment Condition Reports; report repairs as needed;
Keep shop clean and organized at end of shift
