Inventory Control Clerk

Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, organized self‑starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as an Inventory Control Clerk in Griffin, GA
.

• Work from a variety of source documents to verify part numbers, part locations and quantities.
• Ensure daily shipments are prepared and loaded correctly to include weight distribution and paperwork accuracy.
• Count parts and coordinate order fulfilment.
• Manage traceability of parts through the value streams and target aged inventory.
• Manage order fulfilment, processing, storing/picking of parts, equipment and supplies.
• Oversee shipping and receiving of material.
• Interact with multiple systems.
• Coordinate expedited parts to support the customer.
• Target aged inventory, lead reconciliation and investigate root cause.
• Lead inventory problem‑solving events to drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate or execute random and scheduled inventory and receipt audits.
• Track quality metrics and meet quality goals.
• Investigate customer‑reported defects, including internal logistics customers.
• Occasionally operate heavy equipment, reach trucks, sit‑down forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Perform material handling and warehousing functions as required.

• Minimum 6 months warehouse inventory or parts distribution experience.
• Competent with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Good attendance record.
• Ability to maintain accurate and complete records.
• Availability to work overtime when required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Occasionally lift parts up to 35 pounds individually or 70 pounds as a team lift.
• Frequent bending, reaching and squatting while performing tasks.
• Consistent usage of required PPE for the task being performed.
• Work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
• Stand and/or sit at a desk while performing tasks.

Starting wage is $19.38 per hour (paid bi‑weekly). Overtime opportunities paid at time and a half (some may be mandatory). Medical, dental, vision and prescription benefits start day 1. 6 % company match for 401(k). Annual increases based on performance evaluation. Time off (Vacation & PTO) and paid holidays. $21.38 – $27.31 per hour.

Location:

375 Green Valley Road, Griffin, GA 30224.

Shift: 1st shift, 6:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday‑Thursday.

Work type: 100% on‑site; no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedule.

Relocation reimbursement is not offered for this position.
