As a Technical Services Operations Manager, you’ll lead a motivated team of chemists and drivers while managing full P&L responsibility for a service center. This role is ideal for someone with leadership experience who thrives in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, driving operational excellence, and supporting both your team and customers.
Key Job Responsibilities- Lead daily operations for the service center with full P&L ownership
- Oversee scheduling of customer work, logistics, and team assignments
- Manage and develop Field Chemists and Drivers, providing training and support
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and DOT regulations
- Coordinate purchasing, invoices, and supply management for the facility
- Collaborate with Sales, Plant Operations, and Customer Service teams to resolve technical and operational needs
- Communicate facility updates and challenges to regional leadership
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field preferred)
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in an operations or service environment
- 5+ years of industry experience, with lab packing expertise strongly preferred
- Knowledge of DOT and RCRA regulations is preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous experience with SAP a plus
- Ability to present technical information clearly and effectively
- Ability to travel locally up to 50%
