Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Field/Service Technician
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mobile nitrogen pumpers and related cryogenic equipment, including diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulic systems, cryogenic trailers and pumps, tractor units, pickup trucks, and safety relief systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment failures in both shop and field environments, responding to unplanned mechanical events and restoring equipment to service in accordance with manufacturer and company specifications.
- Maintain equipment compliance by completing inspections, implementing equipment bulletins and alerts, and accurately documenting maintenance activities, repairs, and service records in both handwritten and electronic formats.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and field technicians to provide updates on equipment status, maintenance activities, and operational issues.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and support LSI’s industry‑leading safety culture in all work activities.
- Work independently and collaboratively to support fleet reliability, equipment availability, and operational readiness.
- Perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Be available for occasional overtime and travel as required, while participating in equipment‑specific training and development opportunities to expand technical skills and advance qualifications.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably with cryogenic pumps, transports, compressed gas equipment, or similar industrial equipment; specialized training or certifications are a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a CDL Class A License with Haz Mat and Tanker endorsements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) and manufacturer diagnostic software.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and work independently.
- Previous experience in chemical, refining, military, industrial, or technical training environments is preferred.
- Must meet all background screening, drug testing, and customer‑site access requirements established by Linde and its customers.

Pay commensurate with experience. Open to salary range $61,669 - $90,448.
