Shop Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shop Assistant with emphasis on washing and detailing vehicles. This position will support a busy vehicle fleet maintenance shop. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good communication skills and be able to manage their workday with limited supervision. They will assist with day-to-day operations as assigned, and ensure the shop remains clean, organized, and efficient.

• Wash Vehicles and Equipment.
• Detail vehicle interiors.
• Maintain the wash bay in a clean and operational condition.
• Keep wash bay supplies and materials stocked.
• Clean and maintain the shop, tools, and equipment.
• Pick up and Deliver parts and supplies from vendors.
• Driving and parking trucks and trailers in the yard, safely.
• Organize and stock parts inventory.
• Dispose of waste materials following environmental and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by shop management.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in an automotive or mechanical environment is a plus.
• Basic understanding of vehicle components and mechanical systems is a plus.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
• Fast-paced, hands-on shop environment.

- Friday 6am - 3pm

Saturday work may be required as needed.
