About The Employer

Lady living at home with family requires a PA to support with personal care washing and dressing, administer medication, and make meals and drinks. Hoists are in place in the home due to mobility issues.

• Support and/or prompt with personal care, including toileting, showering/bathing, getting in and out of bed, and dressing.
• Support and/or prompt with cooking, meal preparation, and eating meals/drinks.
• Assist with medication management.
• Assist with household chores and general homemaking.
• Develop a good and trusting one‑to‑one working relationship.

• Only candidates aged 18 or over should apply, as you will be required to administer medication.
• Be honest, reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy, including the prohibited use of social media in relation to the job role.
• Work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
• Follow instructions accurately.
• Be patient, supportive, and caring.
• Have good listening skills and provide non‑judgemental emotional support.
• Be empathetic.
• Previous caring experience is essential.
• Flexibility would be an advantage as the hours may be variable.
• Have a lively personality.

Successful candidates are required to undertake any training deemed necessary and appropriate to the role, including Moving and Handling training provided by the employer.

• Wednesday, 9 am to 12 noon
• Saturday, 9 am to 12 noon
• Sunday, 9 am to 12 noon

Due to the nature of the work, this post is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure (costs will be covered).

You have a responsibility to report all accidents and any defects or hazards that could cause an accident to the employer immediately, and to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.
