Position Overview
The WTG Client Rep position is a technical offshore opportunity focused on overseeing installation activities throughout the execution phase. This position plays a key role in supporting safe delivery, quality oversight and accurate daily reporting across load‑out, transit, positioning and installation activities. The WTG Client Rep will work in a hands‑on environment, attending operational discussions and witnessing key activities in the field.

This opportunity sits within the offshore energy sector and supports installation work during the execution phase of a project. The working environment involves offshore operations, active work areas and close coordination with contractor teams and HSE representatives. The role includes participation in daily meetings, toolbox talks and safety walks, with regular site presence during key installation activities. The WTG Client Rep will contribute to safe and quality‑focused project delivery in a technically demanding setting.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain an accurate daily record of installation activities throughout the execution phase.
- Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports covering load‑out, transit, positioning and installation activities.
- Ensure Daily Progress Reports are signed by all required parties.
- Review and understand relevant risk assessments, method statements and QHSE documents before execution begins and remain updated on any changes.
- Monitor contractor activities to help ensure work is carried out safely and to the required quality standards.
- Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks and other operational discussions to support safe execution.
- Be present during defined key activities, and otherwise as often as practicable, to witness installation work where safe to do so.
- Participate in safety walks alongside HSE representatives from the company and contractor organisations.
- Essential: GWO courses including Sea Survival, Working at Heights, Enhanced First Aid, Fire Awareness and Manual Handling.
- Essential: HUET, STCW 2010, OPITO or BOSIET, and EBS.
- Essential:
Offshore medical certificate including chester step test. - Essential: IOSH Managing Safely or similar HSE training.
- Essential:
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience within the specific package area. - Essential: IT proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet‑based reporting environments.
- Desirable: LOLER and CDM.
- Desirable:
Marine awareness qualifications relevant to the package role.
