HGV Technician Up to £24.00 per Hour | 4 On / 4 Off | No Night Shifts

• 4 On / 4 Off Shift Pattern
• No Night Shifts
• Midweek shifts: 10:00am – 10:00pm
• Weekend shifts: 6:00am – 6:00pm for an earlier finish.
• Up to £24.00 per hour
• Optional overtime available to boost your income

• Manufacturer training with Renault Trucks
• Training on electric vehicles and emerging technologies

As an HGV Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers' fleets remain safe, compliant, and operational.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs
• Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
• Performing inspections in line with DVSA and manufacturer standards
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues efficiently
• Repairing, assembling, and replacing vehicle components
• Welding and fabrication work when required
• Completing job cards and maintenance records accurately
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and workmanship
• Delivering excellent customer service and technical support

We're keen to hear from candidates who have:

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or similar role
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
• Experience using modern workshop tools and diagnostic equipment
• Welding and fabrication experience (desirable)
• A proactive, problem-solving approach
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• The ability to work independently and as part of a professional team
