Our department invites applications for a one-year appointment in organic or biochemistry chemistry beginning August 2026. Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) is preferred;
Instructor (ABD) or Associate Professor is possible. The teaching load is five courses (with labs counting as ½ of a course) over two semesters. This will include teaching organic and biochemistry classes, and labs, at both the introductory and upper level with possible involvement in general chemistry. The Grinnell College Chemistry Department has a long-standing commitment to, and record of success in, attracting and retaining students from diverse backgrounds.
