Position: Department of Psychology (Tenure Track, Start Fall 2027)

GRINNELL COLLEGE – DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY - TENURE-TRACK POSITION (START FALL 2027).

GRINNELL COLLEGE. The Department of Psychology invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in social psychology, broadly defined, beginning Fall 2027, with strong institutional support for research and professional development. Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) preferred;
Instructor (ABD) or Associate Professor possible. We seek a candidate who is enthusiastic about teaching intermediate and advanced courses in social or personality psychology. The ability to teach introductory psychology, research methods and/or statistics is highly desirable. Our energetic faculty teach a laboratory-based curriculum embedded within a natural science perspective and emphasize inclusive, evidence-based pedagogy and meaningful faculty-student research collaboration.

Our innovative curriculum enables exploration of the boundaries and interdisciplinary potentials of the discipline.
