GRINNELL COLLEGE. The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in the area of Organic Chemistry, or related field, beginning Fall 2027. Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) or Associate Professor possible. Teaching responsibilities will be primarily in Organic Chemistry with additional contributions to Biochemistry. The position will also have opportunities to contribute to other related teaching areas as applicable. Demonstrated interest in participation in the College’s curricular offerings for non-science majors is also expected.
In addition, the candidate is expected to develop an active research program involving undergraduate students.
