This is an opportunity for a Pediatric Home Care RN or LPN in Gilman, IA to provide skilled nursing care in patients’ homes.

As a Pediatric Home Care RN or LPN with UnityPoint at Home, you’ll work one‑on‑one with children and their families to develop the care plan that is right for them. You may work full‑time or part‑time and have flexibility to choose the schedule that best fits your life. You will provide skilled nursing care to pediatric‑young adult patients with special health care needs in their homes, performing patient assessments, feedings, respiratory system management, medication administration, activities of daily living, and therapy programs.

You will also assist in care coordination with the care team and may be responsible for transportation of the patient.

• Graduate of a State Board approved program for Licensed Practical Nurses or Registered Nurses and hold a valid license as an Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Maintenance of an acceptable driving record (i.e., no "OWI" convictions in last 7 years or no more than 3 moving violations in last 3 years). An unacceptable driving record may result in suspension, termination or transfer to another position not requiring the ability to drive.
• Ability to work as a collaborative team member.
• CPR:
  Maintain a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Card with re‑certification.
