Wage: $16.00/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday - Friday)

QPS Employment Group has a great Warehouse opportunity available at a company in Grinnell, IA. This is a potential to hire position on 1st shift. This role is responsible for accurately filling and preparing customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Team members will pick, pack, and verify orders while maintaining organization and cleanliness throughout the workspace. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable with physical work during extended shifts.

Warehouse Responsibilities:
- Read order sheets and accurately pick items from designated shelving
- Use a handheld scanner to retrieve and track orders
- Pack items into appropriately sized boxes for shipment
- Verify packing slips match the items packaged
- Complete required paperwork for outgoing orders
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work area
- Organize and store supplies as they are received

Requirements for Warehouse:
- Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 5-40lbs repeatedly (up to 10 times per hour); team lifts required for items over 40lbs
- Ability to bend, twist, push, pull and crouch throughout the shift
