Terms of ServiceHourly, part-time, school year position up to five hours per school day. Pay rate of $18.50 per hour for the 2026/2027 school year.

Job SummaryUnder the direction of the Before/After School Program Director (Director) and Coordinator, the Assistant Instructor will assist with the implementation of the program. The Instructor is responsible for helping to maintain a safe and clean site, ensuring a high level of program quality, and working to establish a positive relationship with all program participants and their families.
Ability to- Work with, develop, lead, mentor, and supervise youth ages 5 to 14 in small and large groups.
- Engage in physical activities with participants without limitation.
- Lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects between 10 and 20 pounds.
- Stand for up to 5 hours.
- Maintain an inviting, safe, orderly environment.
- Work cooperatively and collaboratively with staff, parents, and students.
- Effectively communicate and demonstrate sensitivity with others.
- Be a good role model for children.
