Overview
Oma's Soep organizes weekly Cooking Days where volunteers help elderly residents of community centres and day‑care centres make soup, play games, and keep them company.
What does a Cooking Day entail?Participation lasts 2–3 hours and takes place at the community centre or day‑care location.
- Arrive at the indicated start time.
- Receive a warm welcome and instructions.
- Assist the elderly in making soup.
- Play board games and chat with participants.
Oma's Soep sells soups based on grandma's authentic recipe, and at least 50% of the profits are donated to the Oma's Soep Foundation to help lonely elderly people.
