Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Substitute Teacher to join our educational team in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI. The Substitute Teacher will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment and delivering lesson plans in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
Key Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of instruction.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.
• Adapt to different grade levels and subjects as needed.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and other school functions as required.
• Report any incidents, attendance, and student progress to the appropriate school personnel.
• Collaborate with school staff to support student learning and well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching license preferred.
• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and student needs.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor.
