Registered Nurse Pre & Post Op; Contingent Days-Grosse Pointe Farms

HFMG Nursing uses evidence-based practice, professional practice standards and a strong partnership with our physicians to be empowered, self-driven professionals.

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.

Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.

Effectively communicates with the health care team. Demonstrates clinical competence. Works independently and in collaboration with the principal investigator.

Cottage is a 4 room Ambulatory OR with operational times of 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The site covers a wide range of services such as:

• Ortho:
  Sports Medicine, Total hips and knees, Podiatry and Hand
• Plastics:
  Breast augmentation, Breast Reduction, Liposuction, Face lifts and laser surgery
• Ophthalmology:
  Cataract, Retinal and Ocular Plastic

The site is open Monday–Friday with no weekend, holiday or call requirement.

Position:
Contingent, no weekends, no holidays and no on‑call. Shift: Day.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Previous 1–2 years recent related clinical nursing experience and a demonstrated level of performance and practice required.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
