GBC Autism Services provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to individuals with autism in Illinois and Michigan, including clinics in Peoria and Normal Illinois and Grosse Pointe Woods Michigan. The organization delivers expert support through a specialized team addressing needs in communication, behavior management, social skills, and general independence. Services include in-home and center-based ABA, consultation services, and programs through the Caterpillar Autism Learning Center.

Role Description

This role is for a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at GBC Autism Services, located on-site in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI. As a BCBA, you will oversee ABA therapy programs, develop individualized treatment plans, and conduct assessments using evidence-based practices. Responsibilities include supervising and training behavior technicians, monitoring patient progress, and providing direct support to clients and families with a focus on skill development and behavior management.

Collaboration with caregivers and interdisciplinary teams is key to achieving positive patieht outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) are essential for this role.
  • Proficiency in Behavior Management and developing behavior intervention plans is required.
  • Experience in Parent Education to guide caregivers in implementing therapy strategies effectively.
  • A strong foundation in Psychology and understanding of developmental needs.
  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills to work collaboratively with clients, families, and staff.
  • Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards in alignment with behavior analysis principles.
