Lead the charge in delivering exceptional, compassionate patient care in our dynamic oncology infusion setting. As a Registered Nurse in Oncology Infusion, you'll be at the heart of our patients' healing journey, utilizing the full nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to craft personalized care plans that make a real difference. You'll take ownership of patient and family education, coordinate seamlessly with our healthcare team, and champion solutions that transform patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion compassionate, evidence-based patient care by conducting thorough assessments and developing strategic nursing care plans tailored to each patient's unique oncology infusion needs
• Lead patient and family education initiatives, empowering them with knowledge and confidence throughout their treatment journey
• Foster seamless communication across the healthcare team, ensuring critical patient and family information flows effectively to optimize care coordination
• Delegate, supervise, and mentor nursing staff while maintaining meticulous documentation that reflects the highest standards of care
• Proactively identify variances from patient goals and drive innovative solutions that enhance outcomes and patient satisfaction
• Demonstrate clinical leadership by applying advanced nursing knowledge and analytical skills to complex patient situations in the oncology setting

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED:

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES

REQUIRED:

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
