Position Overview
Corewell Health is seeking a part‑time pediatric hospitalist to provide inpatient coverage at Grosse Pointe Hospital (468 Cadieux Rd, Grosse Pointe). The position is 20 variable weekly hours with 14 12‑hour shifts/month, offering 24/7 in‑house coverage. No outpatient work is required.
Key Responsibilities- Inpatient care for newborns and well newborns in the nursery and NICU.
- Manage admissions for patients 12 years and older admitted to the hospital.
- Attend deliveries, perform neonatal resuscitation, and consult the emergency department as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement, clinical protocol creation, and professional development.
- Cover in‑house 24/7 rotations, providing both day and night shifts.
- BE/BC Pediatrics.
- Unrestricted Michigan medical license and DEA registration.
