Qualifications

An Associate's Degree or higher or ETS Exam for Paraprofessionals with a 460 or higher score. Must have met a rigorous standard of quality and can demonstrate (through a formal State or local academic assessment) knowledge of the ability to assist in instruction, as appropriate. Experience working with students with disabilities Ability to assist teachers with educational instruction, behavior management, leisure and recreation activities Ability to work as a team member Ability to motivate and engage students Ability to assist students, some of whom are young adults, with personal hygiene needs Ability to document data regarding specific student needs Crisis Prevention Institute certificate preferred

Compensation

The ESY pay rate shall be your current hourly pay rate. Total number of positions will be determined based on interest and enrollment.
