Substitute Teacher
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Substitute Teacher to join our team in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI. As a Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for providing instruction, managing the classroom environment, and ensuring that students continue to learn in the absence of their regular teacher.
Responsibilities:
- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher
- Manage the classroom and maintain a positive learning environment
- Provide instruction and support to students as needed
- Communicate with school staff and administrators as necessary
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching permit
- Previous experience working with students preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different classroom environments
