Student Council Leadership

Student Advocacy:
Gather student feedback, express peer concerns to school administration, and advocate for positive policy or facility changes. Event Planning & Execution:
Plan, organize, and host school-wide activities such as spirit weeks, dances, fundraisers, and community service projects. School Leadership:
Serve as positive role models, promote school pride and inclusivity, and lead student engagement initiatives.

Leader Recruitment & Selection:
Manage the application and selection process for 8th-grade WEB Leaders, choosing a diverse group of dependable, positive role models. Training & Facilitation:
Complete official training and run mandatory summer/year-round training workshops to teach student leaders public speaking, group dynamics, and leadership skills. Orientation Oversight:
Plan and execute the full-day 5th-grade orientation, managing logistics, room assignments, schedules, and supervising WEB Leaders as they lead small groups. Year-Long Programming:
Coordinate monthly check-ins, academic follow-up lessons, and social events between WEB Leaders and their 5th-grade mentees. Administrative Liaison:
Coordinate schedules and budgets with school administration, manage parent communications, and track program data to assess student transition success.

Program Scheduling & Operations:
Schedule all home/away games, arrange referee/official coverage, coordinate team transportation, and manage venue logistics. Coach Management & Hiring:
Recruit, interview, hire, and evaluate coaching staff; ensure coaches maintain required certifications (CPR, First Aid, background checks). Student Eligibility & Safety:
Track academic eligibility, medical clearances, and parental consent forms; oversee sports safety protocols and injury reporting. Facilities & Equipment:
Inspect and maintain sports equipment, uniforms, and playing facilities to ensure safety compliance and inventory accuracy.
