Position: Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - $2,484 per week

Fusion Medical Staffing‑Radiology is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.

Required Qualifications
  • One year’s experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current ARRT or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification
  • Other certifications and licenses relevant to the position
Essential Work Functions
  • Educate patients about nuclear medicine procedures and answer questions
  • Maintain and inspect nuclear medicine equipment; report malfunctions and ensure radiation safety
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications per protocol
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and intervene as needed
  • Operate medical imaging equipment to produce organ or area images per physician orders
  • Document procedure details in patient records for continuity of care and regulatory compliance
  • Follow hospital safety rules and radiation safety procedures to minimize exposure
  • Perform additional duties within the scope of practice as assigned
Required Essential Skills
  • Critical thinking and excellent interpersonal communication
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Ability to read written instructions and follow verbal instructions; PC skills
  • Physical strength to lift 50‑100 pounds and perform required movements
  • Professionalism and positive attitude when working with diverse personnel
  • Fine motor skill to assist with procedures and use department equipment
  • Capacity to handle frequent contact with the public, work under pressure, and maintain concentration
  • Visual acuity to effectively communicate
