Medical Receptionist Medical Assistant

Center for Preventive Medicine PC in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI is looking for a motivated and compassionate Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant to join our dedicated healthcare team. • Greet and check in patients, managing front desk operations with professionalism and warmth
• Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle phone inquiries efficiently
• Verify insurance information and process co-pays and billing documentation
• Room patients, record vital signs, and document chief complaints in the EMR system
• Assist physicians with clinical documentation , and preventive care visits
• Maintain a clean, organized, and HIPAA-compliant clinical environment

• High school diploma or GED required;
  Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) preferred
• Prior experience in a medical office or clinical setting strongly preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC EMRsystems and general medical office software
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, and scheduling
• Documentation and clinical skills including vital signs and CGMS application and downloads
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and patient-facing interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
