CRNA Locum Tenens (Full-Time or Part-Time Option)

Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Contract Length: 13 weeks (renewable)

Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital

Coverage Type: Scheduled hours only No call
Schedule: Monday Friday, 7a 3p
Shifts: 5 8-hour shifts weekly (preferred full-time)
Part-Time Option: 2 shifts per week accepted
Credentialing Timeframe: days (clean background required)

Practice Setting: Hospital Supervision Model
Daily Case Load: 7 20 surgical cases depending on type
Pain Management: 0 10 cases per day
Team Structure: Surgeon, CRNA, supervising MDA, RN, scrub tech, and occasionally first assist or resident

Case Types:
General surgery, robotic, plastics, ENT, orthopedics, podiatry, urology, and some pediatrics (no neonates)
Anesthesia Types: General and IV sedation

Patient Population: Pediatric to geriatric (excluding neonates)

Board Certification: NBCRNA (required)
License: Active Michigan license (no licensing assistance)
Certifications: BLS & ACLS (AHSA required)
Experience: Minimum 1 year
Charting Experience: Cerner (required)

• Monday Friday schedule, 7a 3p (no call)

• Supervised anesthesia care model

• Full-time preferred; part-time (2 days/week) accepted

• Cerner EMR, clean credentialing background required

• Diverse case mix in high-volume hospital setting
