2 South is a 38‑bed unit with private and semi-private rooms, dedicated to caring for patients with pulmonary, hospice, oncology/hematology, and general medical conditions. The unit follows a patient‑family centered care model that encourages family presence while respecting the individuality of each patient.

Assist a registered nurse in delivering patient care according to the plan of care and unit routine, including safe transportation of patients, dispatch services, and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Provide observer services for patients requiring constant observation, either in person or via remote video monitoring. Perform general receptionist and clerical duties to support efficient unit operations.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support certification required.
• Current CAN certification preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately.
• Ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge preferred.
• Ability to move or lift patients and equipment.
