Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Henry Ford Health is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the Anesthesiology team at Henry Ford St. John Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center in Detroit, Michigan, offering a dynamic inpatient practice environment with strong compensation, call incentives, and a $40,000 sign-on bonus.
Job responsibilities include:
- Provide anesthesia services in an inpatient hospital setting
- Deliver care across a wide range of surgical and procedural cases in a Level I Trauma Center
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing staff, and perioperative teams
- Participate in scheduled night and weekend call coverage
- Respond within 1 hour when on-call and provide services as needed (2-hour minimum callback)
- Manage pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluations
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients intraoperatively
- Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management
- Document all patient encounters in EPIC EMR
- Maintain compliance with hospital credentialing and clinical standards
- Support staffing needs due to ongoing staffing shortages
- No lapsed or new graduate candidates
- Not open to locum and/or locum to perm candidates
- Not open to candidates who have lapsed Board Certification(s) and need to obtain them again
- Not open to providers who want to commute long distances (more than 1 hour) and/or in conjunction with another job(s)
- Not open to candidates seeking alternate shift schedules to what is described above
- Open to H1B and J1 Visa Candidates
Compensation and benefits include:
- Competitive salary range based on experience and training (to be discussed at interview). Provider may submit salary expectations with presentation.

Certification requirements:
- ACLS
- BLS
- NBCRNA
State license requirements:
- Michigan
Additional license requirements:
- 1–2 years of CRNA experience required, Trauma Level I experience preferred due to facility designation, Must meet credentialing requirements (90–120 days)
