Part-Time, up to 19 hours per week
SALARY RANGE AS OF 7/1/25: $16.94 - $17.50 /hour
SALARY RANGE AS OF 7/1/26: $17.00 - $18.75/hour
Position OverviewThe Parks & Recreation department is seeking a reliable and customer focused office clerk to join their team!
The office clerk will provide front desk support, assist with program registrations, perform general clerical tasks, and will utilize Microsoft Suite and other department and/or town specific software programs. Strong customer service, communication, and computer skills are required as the clerk will be assisting the public in person, virtually, and by phone with routine inquiries.
The skills and knowledge required would generally be acquired with a high school, or equivalent, education. Experience in a public office setting and a familiarity with parks and recreations services is desirable.
Responsibilities- Provide front desk support and assist with program registrations.
- Perform general clerical tasks and utilize Microsoft Suite and other department software programs.
- Assist the public in person, virtually, and by phone with routine inquiries; deliver strong customer service.
- Must possess and maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required.
- Experience in a public office setting and familiarity with parks and recreation services is desirable.
