Receptionist
Our client is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and guests. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, handling incoming calls, providing administrative support, and maintaining a welcoming and organized office environment. The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented, highly organized, and enjoys interacting with people in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities Front Desk Reception- Greet visitors, employees, and guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the office.
- Manage visitor check-in procedures and provide general assistance as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
- Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.
- Provide basic information and assistance to callers.
- Take and relay messages accurately and promptly.
- Coordinate calendars and assist with meeting scheduling.
- Provide general administrative support to office staff and leadership.
- Assist with filing, data entry, document preparation, and office correspondence.
- Support special projects and day-to-day office operations as needed.
- Assist with mail distribution and office logistics.
- Maintain office supplies and support overall office organization.
- Help ensure smooth daily operations and a positive experience for employees and visitors.
- Previous administrative, receptionist, or customer service experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Professional demeanor with a friendly and welcoming personality.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable interacting with employees, visitors, and clients.
- Previous receptionist or front desk experience.
- Office administration background.
- Experience coordinating schedules and meetings.
- Be the face of a well-established organization and play a key role in creating a positive first impression.

Determining compensation for this role at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
