NAEYC Preschool Paraeducators
Possess one of the following:
Completed two years of college credit (60 credits total); or Hold an associate's (or higher) degree; or Passed the Para Pro/Para Pathways Assessment AND possess one of the following: A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent or 12 college credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, and/or early childhood special education.
Additional qualifications:
Ability to work with children with multiple needs;
Capacity to implement lessons written by the Special Education Teacher;
Ability to work cooperatively with Administration, Regular Education Teachers, other assigned staff, and parents;
Flexible, dependable, and responsive to new ideas and direction.
Start date:
ASAP Hourly rate: $17.94 per hour Wages in accordance with the CBA for the Groton Paraeducators Chapter CSEA/SEIU Local 2001 Final date to receive applications:
