Job Summary

SEACORP is seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to support CSRR (Common Submarine Radio Room) testing efforts in Groton, CT. The successful candidate will provide technical evaluation and perform required corrective actions for CSRR in accordance with applicable system instructions, DoD and Navy Maintenance Procedures. This position will assist in the disassembly, reassembly, installation and testing of CSRR components; as well as providing support to a variety of engineering tasks in the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, and operation of CSRR in accordance with engineering specifications.

Candidates must be willing to travel and provide on‑site support for underway submarine operations, which may involve deployments lasting up to three weeks.

• Assist with test and evaluation; perform validation/verification of the CSRR systems.
• Assist in accomplishing Engineering Change Instructions.
• Assist in development of technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems, technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements.
• Support systems engineering activities with subject matter expertise.
• Direct on‑site customer interface for equipment/systems installation, testing, survey, fabrication, and other engineering tasks as needed.
• Comply with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, and system specifications and test procedures, review change proposals for equipment impacts.
• Provide support in the development of technical proposals and provide input on technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work.

Education: Completion of Technical/Military Trade School.

Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Hands‑on experience configuring, troubleshooting and repair/replacement of networking equipment, servers and workstations.
• Must meet all physical and medical readiness standards for underway contractor support, including the ability to work in confined spaces, navigate steep ladders, and operate in undersea environments.

• US Military systems/CSRR experience.
• US Military Maintenance Training.
