Systems Engineer
Overview
Department 408 performs logistics changes to supported submarine classes and creates and maintains maintenance products to supported submarine classes.
The Systems Engineer will work to develop new or modify existing maintenance requirements for submarine systems and components for all classes, and manage the development of the associated maintenance products. This includes conducting Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analyses to identify the most applicable and effective maintenance, who should conduct it and how often it needs to be accomplished.

- Conduct Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analyses to identify the most applicable and effective maintenance, who should conduct it and how often it needs to be accomplished.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (any discipline)
- 1-5 years of engineering experience post graduation
- Proficiency with MS OFFICE applications.
Preferred:
- Experience with navy maintenance conduct and documents.
- Naval Nuclear Trained
- Simulation Methods
- 3D Modeling
This position requires strong decision making, program management, work ethics, and the ability and willingness to learn new processes. Candidate must be highly motivated, perform independently, as well as interact with other groups and organizations. The candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills including technical writing. Candidate must have the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
