  • Ensure that SSMs/CTMs are issued in support of ship's key events allowing submarines to return to sea.
  • Engage frequently with NAVSEA customers developing successful relationships to ensure we support the same overall goal.
  • Ensure technical accuracy, cost efficiency, and minimizing schedule performance of products.
  • Coordinate routinely with engineering management (both inside and outside of the directorate), outside agencies (NUWC, PARMs, etc.), and NAVSEA for development, review, and approval support of the manuals that directly tie to sailors operating the submarine.
  • Manage resources, track budgets, and schedules assigned to the group.
  • Constant interface with program office to ensure that proper products are getting worked to support the Naval Fleet.
  • Ensure configuration management is maintained by the group for all products.
