A confidential employer in Groton, Connecticut, is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to drive innovation in advanced underwater maritime systems. This direct-hire role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge technologies within a close-knit team that values technical excellence and creativity.

This is a rare chance to join a highly specialized Sensing and Communications Department where your expertise in analog and digital circuit design will directly impact next-generation maritime technologies. You will be entrusted with end-to-end ownership of complex electronic systems, from initial design and prototyping through production and sustainment. Every day, you'll tackle challenges that push the boundaries of signal processing, embedded systems, and power management in a mission-critical domain.

Your work will involve designing custom mixed-signal PCBs, integrating analog sensors, ADCs, and microcontrollers, and troubleshooting multi-layer boards. You will use your lab skills to test and validate designs, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure seamless system integration. The projects you support are essential to underwater operations, and your contributions will be visible in real-world exercises.

The ideal candidate brings a degree in electrical engineering and a proven track record of delivering high-density PCBs for R&D or production environments. You are adept at low-noise design, comfortable with DSP concepts, and proficient with lab equipment. Beyond technical skill, you are a mentor, a clear communicator, and someone who thrives in a multidisciplinary, entrepreneurial culture where your ideas can shape product direction.

Full relocation is provided to Groton, Connecticut, with an option to work from Concord, Massachusetts. In this position, you won't just fill a seat—you'll help define what's possible in maritime electronics.
