Overview
Stonington Institute, a division of Universal Health Services (UHS), has an immediate opening for a full-time RESIDENTIAL AIDE. The facility provides quality substance abuse treatment options for adults in Southeastern Connecticut and surrounding areas, including medical detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. The Inn at Trails Corner offers overnight accommodations and related services for clients in the outpatient day treatment programs.

The Residential Aide participates in the supervision and operation of the unit to ensure resident safety and engagement and building/grounds security. Implements all Program and Institute policies and procedures pertaining to the safety and security of residents, Institute property and the community.

QualificationsHigh School Diploma required. Experience in social services, residential treatment, and/or custodial supervision desired. Valid driver’s license with MVR acceptable to the organization, including no DUI/DWI in the past seven years. Ideally, public service endorsement or ability to obtain endorsement within 30 days of hire.
