Overview
Machine Shop Maintenance Mechanic
Duties include, but are not limited to:
* Maintain proper coolant mixture and levels in all machinery in the shipyard (i.e. Machine shop, R&D, Pipe shop,etc.)
* Change machine coolant and dispose of all hazardous waste generated
* Change filters
* Check and maintain oil levels
* Part of a team to in perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on all major equipment
Responsibilities
Skills:
* Basic tool applications and use
* Ability to read, interpret, and work from policies and procedures
Qualifications
Required:
* HS Diploma / GEDOR 2+ years of related technical experience
* 2 - 5 years of mechanical experience
* 2 - 5 years experience working around operating equipment
* Available to work all shifts and to support overtime as needed
