NDT Technician Groton, CT Full-Time On-Site
$40 - $60 /hr
As a NDT Technician you will ensure the quality and integrity of investment castings used in aerospace and other high performance industries. You will perform radiographic inspections, interpret film and digital images, and support technique development for complex casting geometries. You will also assist with training, documentation and audit readiness to maintain compliance with NADCAP and AS9100 requirements.
Must haves:
- 5+ years of experience as an NDT Engineer
- 5+ years of experience as with nondestructive testing
- 5 years of experience with film
- Experience with aerospace, defense, manufacturing or investment casting
Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic inspections on investment castings
- Interpret and evaluate x ray images for defects
- Develop radiographic techniques for complex parts
- Support training and procedure development
- Assist with audits and maintain compliance
- Document inspection results and collaborate with quality teams
