We are seeking an External Screening & In Vitro Biology Operations Specialist to support external screening data operations, plate-based screening workflows, and coordination with external CRO partners. This role will work closely with internal scientists, cross-functional stakeholders, and external research partners to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality screening data delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background, experience with research or screening data workflows, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update external screening data repositories and vendor-specific portals.
- Process screening requests and validate and QC screening data deliverables.
- Distribute accurate screening data to internal scientists and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with external vendors and CROs to track screening requests and resolve data or workflow issues.
- Support transfer of plate-based screening assays to external CRO partners.
- Ensure assay protocols, controls, data, and supporting documentation are complete and aligned with internal standards.
- Receive, format, and publish screening data using standardized data-loading tools and templates.
- Register and maintain vendor profiles and project records within designated systems.
- Maintain reference and control compound lists and screening protocols.
- Coordinate registration of new control and reference compounds as needed.
- Follow established data handling standards and maintain clear documentation for audits and reporting.
- Support additional operational and scientific activities based on business needs and project priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience with scientific data workflows, data management, and data QC in a research or screening environment.
- Strong understanding of laboratory and scientific workflows.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Experience with plate-based screening assays
. - Experience with screening data analysis, QC, formatting, and upload.
- Experience working with CROs, external vendors, or outsourced research partners
. - Experience supporting assay transfer activities.
- Familiarity with scientific data repositories, laboratory systems, vendor portals, or data-loading tools.
