Bench Scientist is responsible for executing laboratory-based experiments that support scientific research, product development, and technical investigations. This role involves hands-on work using analytical and characterization techniques and contributes directly to data generation, method optimization, and scientific problem-solving. Bench Scientists are responsible for the execution and interpretation of scientific protocols and work closely with research leads and project teams to support informed decision-making.

• Conduct laboratory experiments using established scientific methods to support research and development objectives.
• Prepare samples and perform analyses using appropriate laboratory instrumentation and scientific techniques.
• Document experimental procedures, results, and observations in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) requirements and internal standards.
• Interpret experimental results and contribute to data analysis activities.
• Collaborate with scientists and project teams to troubleshoot technical issues and support scientific investigations.
• Follow established scientific protocols while adapting methods as needed to meet project requirements.
• Support laboratory operations through accurate recordkeeping and adherence to quality standards.

• Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.

• 2 to 4 years of relevant laboratory experience.

• Proficiency in laboratory techniques and instrumentation relevant to scientific discipline.
• Ability to follow and adapt scientific protocols with strong attention to detail.
• Strong documentation skills and the ability to accurately record experimental procedures and results.
• Data interpretation and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to support troubleshooting activities and contribute to research and development objectives.

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $43.85 - $51.97 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
