COOK - PART TIME

Job Summary

The Cook is responsible for safe, sanitary food preparation for patients and staff at Stonington Institute. This is a part‑time, 20 hours per week position located in Groton, CT.

• Prepare and serve food safely and hygienically for patients and staff.
• Interact professionally with patients, staff, and coworkers.
• Work closely with other cooks and the Supervisor to ensure smooth dietary operations.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with safety & sanitary regulations.

• High School Diploma; education in food services preferred.
• Cooking experience or willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of kitchen work and safety & sanitary regulations.
• Positive interpersonal skills and ability to interact with staff and patients.
