Job Summary
The Cook is responsible for safe, sanitary food preparation for patients and staff at Stonington Institute. This is a part‑time, 20 hours per week position located in Groton, CT.
Responsibilities- Prepare and serve food safely and hygienically for patients and staff.
- Interact professionally with patients, staff, and coworkers.
- Work closely with other cooks and the Supervisor to ensure smooth dietary operations.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and comply with safety & sanitary regulations.
- High School Diploma; education in food services preferred.
- Cooking experience or willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of kitchen work and safety & sanitary regulations.
- Positive interpersonal skills and ability to interact with staff and patients.
