Job Description
Primary responsibilities include:
- Represent Mondelēz in-store with professionalism, positivity, and a commitment to excellence as the face of iconic brands.
- Serve as the face of the company delivering outstanding customer service to store teams and shoppers.
- Execute daily store visits following Mondelēz’ Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Merchandising Excellence, capturing display photos via digital merchandising initiative (DMI).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel such as backroom receivers and store managers to support brand visibility.
- Order product via iPad using Salesforce to maintain in‑stock conditions for shelf and display.
- Implement promotional displays and ensure compliance with Retail Territory Manager (RTM) negotiated plans.
- Follow daily schedules and priorities set by the RTM for efficient coverage among retail team and colleagues.
- Support seasonal sales including new product launches and high visibility merchandising events.
- Communicate store‑level insights, issues, or opportunities to RTM and management team.
- Stay Safe & Compliant embracing physical demands of the role—lifting, bending, moving product with safety.
- Retail Execution Excellence – skilled in implementing planograms, building displays, and maintaining shelf standards to drive visibility and sales.
- Customer Service Mindset – approachable, upbeat, committed to delivering a positive experience.
- Digital Fluency – comfortable using mobile tools (iPad/tablet & applications) to place orders, capture photos, and follow schedules.
- Collaborative Communication – able to build trust with store personnel and communicate effectively with RTMs and management.
- Adaptability & Initiative – flexible in responding to store needs, seasonal priorities, and promotional opportunities with proactive attitude.
- Physical Readiness – energetic and capable of lifting, bending, and moving product throughout the day.
- Time & Task Management – organized and efficient in following schedules and completing visits with consistency.

- Be at least 18 years old and have a valid REAL r's license, U.S. passport, or federal ; required for access to a military base facility.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; can earn GED while on the job.
- 1–3 years of experience in retail or consumer goods preferred.
- Positive, professional attitude; self‑motivated and able to work independently.
- Valid insurance coverage on personal vehicle for driving to store locations; mileage reimbursed.
- Ability to perform hard work in fast‑paced environment and meet physical demands including repetitive lifting, bending, carrying up to 25 lbs, and occasionally pushing/pulling over 50 lbs.
- Live within 25–35 mile radius of Groton, CT (secondary locations: Norwich & East Lyme).
- Schedule availability: 4 10‑hour days – Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Hourly compensation ranges from $23.44 to $25.44 based on experience, plus 401(k) savings plan, incentive bonus program, mileage reimbursement.
