As a sales associate you will be the face of our company. • Proactively engage and make a connection with customers.
• Ask questions and listen to customer needs.
• Direct customers to merchandise, informing them about upcoming events, promotions, mobile offers and STAR card.
• Cooperate and build positive, inclusive, and respectful relationships; take accountability for your own actions and outcomes.

• Maintain store appearance.

• Cross‑sell products and know the layout of the store.
• Make suggestions to customers about the latest trends and current promotions based on individual needs.
• Upsell products.
• Learn product features, keep up with the latest trends, and leverage company tools and technology to confidently provide the customer with product knowledge and specifications.
• Use a point‑of‑sales system to process cash, exchanges, discounts, gift card, credit card, debit card, and cash handling, including counting money and returning accurate amounts to customers.
• Complete various forms of paperwork, reports, and reconciliation.

• Be the keeper of merchandise; complete all inventory processes and ensure merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed.
• Participate in periodic inventories.

• Adhere to assigned work schedule.
• Provide accurate and complete follow‑through on work assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Product Knowledge: Basic knowledge of products and merchandise.
• Experience: Retail experience preferred but not required.

  Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management, including telephone etiquette.

• Reasoning Ability: Ability to multi‑task while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business; ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independently of direct supervision.
• Physical Demands: Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, standing for at least two consecutive hours; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders; lifting at least 25 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. in some departments; work typically performed indoors but may be assigned outdoors depending on location.
