Working within Transporter Science Group in Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, and Excretion Sciences (ADME), the individual will be responsible for carrying out high-throughput transporter and permeability assays in support of small molecule discovery.

• Perform plate-based in vitro transporter assays of novel small molecules and be able to analyze generated data.
• Use robotics and automated liquid handling systems in the performance of screening.
• Utilize aseptic technique to culture and plate cells.
• Partner with bioanalytical team for sample analysis.
• Maintain up-to-date electronic laboratory notebooks and records in accordance with Pfizer policy.
• Comply with all safety training and good laboratory practices.
• Contribute to general laboratory housekeeping tasks and duties.

• BS/MS degree in Biology or related discipline
• Ability to handle large volumes of data and data analyses.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills/time management are required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to keep accurate records using electronic notebooks.
• Attendance on site Mon – Friday during core business hours (9am – 3pm) is required.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

• Hands on experience with automated (robotic) liquid handling equipment is a plus.
• 1 year of drug discovery experience in ADME, biology, or cell biology.

Position is full-time Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with overtime as needed; core hours are 9am-3pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Groton, CT are encouraged to apply.
