Overview

Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an experienced Project Manager III. Ideal candidates should have a bachelors degree and 3+ years of experience in project management, biospecimen management, laboratory operations, clinical research, or biobanking.

Responsibilities

+ Serve as the project manager for biospecimen orders from initiation through fulfillment.

+ Establish and maintain project timelines, milestones, and priorities for multiple concurrent biospecimen requests.

+ Proactively track deliverables, identify risks, and escalate issues as needed to ensure on-time execution.

+ Document project activities, decisions, issues, corrective actions, and resolutions to ensure transparency and traceability.

+ Act as the primary point of contact for internal customers regarding biospecimen order status, requirements, and delivery timelines.

+ Coordinate closely with external biorepository vendors to ensure accurate and timely execution of biospecimen requests.

+ Support shipment of biospecimens from local facilities in accordance with applicable procedures and shipping requirements.

+ Track shipments and address any logistics-related issues to minimize delays and maintain sample integrity.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Clinical Research, Project Management, or a related field.

+ 3+ years of experience in project management, biospecimen management, laboratory operations, clinical research, or biobanking.

+ Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities.

+ Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Experience coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders and external vendors.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
